Parent Organizations


Parent volunteer participation is approximately 75% for athletic, academic and extracurricular activities at St. Peter’s School.  Strong organizations such as St. Peter’s Parents’ Club, St. Peter’s Athletic Boosters and St. Peter’s Academic Boosters provide financial support for both the academic and athletic activities for students and staff.

Parents’ Club

Parents’ Club is a campus-wide group of school parents from Montessori to 12th grade that sponsors fundraisers for the school such as the Christmas Classic, Recycling, and granting requests from St. Peter’s teachers to enhance learning in and out of the classroom. The Club helps with other events such as the Used Uniform Sale.  This group meets August through May on the FIRST TUESDAY of each month at 5:30 at Relax! It’s Just Coffee.

All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all meetings fitting their schedule. Please consider joining this informative, friendly, and welcoming group to keep up-to-date on St. Peter’s and have a voice for your child’s educational experience. Used Uniform needs?

The used uniform store is located in the basement of the high school.  If you would like to visit the used uniform store please contact the school office for more information..

Montessori Advisory Committee (MAC) 

The MAC is composed of parents of children currently enrolled in the Montessori program and serves as a liaison between parents and administration.  Its goal is to serve as an advocate for the children and the Montessori philosophy of education.  The committee participates in public relations and can be a mediator/sounding board as needs dictate.   Several meetings will be scheduled throughout the school year.  A representative will be chosen to serve on the Education Commission of the parish.

Spartan Athletic Boosters

The Athletic Boosters is a group of school parents that been actively involved in the school’s athletic programs for well over 30 years. The sole purpose of this club, as stated in their Constitution, is “to financially assist and support the development and improvement of all athletic programs at Mansfield St. Peter’s grade and high schools.”

The Spartan Athletic Boosters provide St. Peter’s School with team uniforms, sports equipment, awards, award banquets, as well as financial support for the school’s athletic facilities. They also sponsor the Blue & White and Twelve Season Blanket Awards and the William R. Smith Memorial Award. The Spartan Boosters run the basketball concessions, Monte Carlo Night, Reverse Raffle, Spartan Boosters Golf Scramble, 50/50 drawings, and the Super Booster Program, as well as other fundraising efforts.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, except July, at 7:00 p.m. in the lower-level, southeast meeting room (St. Claire Room) of the Franciscan Activity Center.
